Adding existing VSS files into TFS (Not migrating)

If I just do a add function and bring in all the VSS folders into TFS, should I not be able to open a solution file and all associated projects open in the solutions explorer or at least have those projects checked out with the solution file?

I was told that is how it is in VS2003, VS 2005 that is how it works

If all you want to do is to move the project over then you could just add the files to TFS. The other option that I like is to remove the bindings from the old project, open it in VSTS and add the solution to source control.

    Thanks Paul.

Considering that I am not a developer, how would I remove the bindings?
